Silver is a unique photo space housed in the Bay Area landmark, Cotton Mill Studios. A 105 year old building in Oakland’s Jingle Town. Oriented towards a slower style of image making. Natural light, brick walls, hardwood floors. High ceilings, huge windows, beautiful light all day long. Appointed with minimal, mid century modern furnishings.
Located on the fourth floor in the clock tower, corner unit, sweeping views of of East Oakland, facing east/south east. Freight elevator for load in, two parking spaces in a gated lot, ample street parking. Full kitchen, super fast Wi-Fi, vintage stereo, table and seating for eight. Multiple distinct shoot spaces. The main studio has windows on three sides, a peninsula of light and measures 17’x25’. Background supports on either end, 12x12 silks to diffuse direct sunlight in the mornings, curtains to black out individual windows as needed.
Various grip equipment included. C-stands, high roller, medium roller, sand bags and apple boxes.
